Political correctness has now of course become the norm for most developed societies and where hurt and pain are avoided it can only be for the better, but unfortunately it hides huge cancers in our society, in that we cannot speak openly about many of the things we see and feel. So I guess we are all going to become faceless, grey, unopinionated and lifeless like Tony Blair, Bill Clinton and heaven forbid that Hague creature. What a dreaful sad, sad world. I hope that doesn't happen here.

I hope and dream that you and me
Are truly what we seem to be
No bullshit, no hypocrisy
With just the two of us not three

Do you say what you really feel
Or fear that you'll make people ill
By saying what you really think
As from reality you shrink

The politics of life these days
Teach us to hide our thoughts - it pays
There's no straight talking no real front
God help you if you're straight or blunt

So when I talk straight to your face
Do you respond or hold the ace
A small advantage up your sleeve
For you to play after you leave

Just imagine - there's no bullshit
Only joy and truth and wit
T'would make most people drop down dead
Or promptly have a fit!!!
