It is an unusual but true fact that we do not have any railway trains in Ibiza. It seems that whilst the industrial revolution was taking place throughout the rest of Europe, people in Ibiza chose to stage horse and cart races ? Ultimately, they were right as can be proven by the existence of the 'Road Trains'. Road Trains can be driven on normal roads, don't consume enormous amounts of coal (which we don't have in Ibiza) or water to make steam (which we don't have in Ibiza) or leave little smuts on your clothing if you decide to look out of the window. In fact, Road Trains are basically strong cars, dressed like trains, which can pull over 50 people slowly around the island all at the same time! This may sound remarkable until you get trapped behind one on a bendy road as they're too long to overtake. Anyway this is how they describe themselves on the sandwich board outside the Santa Eulalia Town Hall, which is the local 'IbiTren' bus stop. If locals don't know what you mean when you ask for the Road Train or IbiTren - try the 'Wally Wagon' ?
