Description
Slightly off the beaten track and all the better for it in peak season. You head for San Carlos and the follow the road towards Es Figueral till a signpost directs you to the right to Cala Boix. You arrive at a large gravelled carpark with restaurants on all sides. The escape route is to your right down 39 steps to the beach. Since the beach is quite open to the sea, it is one of those where you can usually find that Mediterranean rarity - waves. These are often eminently suitable for body surfing. A nice sandy beach, very popular with people on yachts, but rarely overcrowded.
