Portinatx beach Is tucked away right in the north of the island and protected by a ring of hills that make the drive there spectacularly beautiful. It seems a long drive on such a small island but is very popular in the summer.
There are actually two beaches here, the first one is where most people stop as it's by the main area of souvenier shops, restaurants etc (and also a water slide), but there is another one further along that is smaller and more secluded - with a couple of good fish restaurants - (watch out for the lobster pots).
Most people that live here find themselves there three times in a lifetime. A nice sunset spot..

Your Safety Dont swim out too far from the beach. Some beaches have rocks! We advise you to becareful when jumping of diving into the sea. Look first! Its Hot Cool Kids Wear waterproof sandles. Great for children who want to look around the rocks to catch crabs and fish. Wildlife Jellyfish and sea urchins are the only real threats in the Mediteareanm sea.And they are not life threating in anyway, but you can epect a nasty sting from a jellyfish .Niether sharks or whales swim around these Islands.
