This little diamond of a beach is beyond Portinatx, which sounds almost impossible, but is true. A right turn almost as you reach the end of this northern outpost takes you along the north coast to this beautiful little cove down a camino that would only be described as good fun by a rally driver or someone in a hired car...
The beach is small, but admirably run by the people in the chiringuito. There are a few sunbeds and shades, but most people bring their own umbrellas.
Once again, as is typical of these smaller bays, the snorkelling is excellent, however, the occasional jellyfish (medusas) have a bad attitude. For this reason bandages and a magic curative cream are available for women and children at the chiringuito. Our intrepid researcher was male and as brave as an English person. |
