Another beautiful beach from the south side of the island. There are no crowds, but it's scarcely deserted either. To find Es Bol Nou you need to go past the airport, looking for the Urbanizacion Can Codolar. Sa Caleta will almost certainly be signposted, and it's only 500 or so metres further on.
There is a little restaurant, should you need refreshments or food, that overlooks this beach, but the path to get to the sands themselves is more of a gentle amble than a climb.
The fine sand runs well out to sea, making for easy ingress, with only the occasional large underwater rock to stub your toe against. The waters are typically clear though, so you should be able to see this coming. Es Bol Nou is protected by very impressive sandstone cliffs, which overhang the beach at the back by only a tiny margin. So if it's shade you're after, there are umbrellas and loungers for hire here. There are no noisy water sports to distract you from the serious business of relaxing.
