The beach that we look out upon from the office (when we feel like leaning out over the balcony and scaring people at the bus stop below who think we look suicidal?). It actually consists of two nice beaches and considering the fact that they're in one of the largest villages on the island, they're quite pleasant.
The main beach (picture) is also basically the only beach on the island without sunloungers, which means no early morning towel laying or forking out the obligatory 1.2 euros (approx) to hire them.
Alledgedly the snorkelling around the rocky divide between the two beaches is very good....lots of octopus etc..? ...Despite this sick rumour, the beach is full with families and a lot of octopus get consumed at the beach side restaurants on the promenade. |
