Atari gaming giant has announced that there next release of the popular gaming series Test Drive will feature Ibiza. It was originally told that the new racing game would take place on in Hawaii, but now the destination is Ibiza.
Test Drive Unlimited first came out for the Xbox and PC and was a great concept for a game. You were given a huge world to explore and in the first game it was Oahu. Then you had the option to try and race a huge selection of different cars all over the Island. The game had lots of options like race, give people rides or do various missions like delivering packages. Add to that you could own houses and clothing and much more created a great online experience. A lot of things like vehicle damage and the physics of the game held it back.
But now Atari have announced that the new game Test Drive Unlimited 2 will go back to its original concept Test Drive Unlimited and be done on the Island of Ibiza. The game will now feature car damage, with loads of new cars to choose from and the game will have a complete new physics engine based for driving. Also the online presence will be expanded. No release date has been given yet, but the game will be coming to the PS3 (Playstation 3), XBOX 360 and PC in the near future.
