Es Cana Village

Less than 5 km north of Santa Eulalia on the east coast of the island, Es Cana is a bustling tourist resort throughout the summer with one of the longest beaches on the island. The bay that it calls home is shallow and well protected from the elements, making it a perfect family resort for the predominantly English summer visitors.

Although a relatively young tourist center it has all of the amenities that one might expect and is indeed home to the internationally renowned Hippy Market every Wednesday throughout the summer.

The coastline walk south to Santa Eulalia, and that along the north coast towards Cala San Vicente, take in some stunning scenery and lead to numerous small beaches with lovely beach bars and restaurants offering service with your toes in the sand.

A beautiful, peaceful part of the island where life carries on at a slower pace – which is exactly what it should do when you’re on holiday.

Check the beach-hopping ferry service if you don’t fancy a long walk – that’s an experience in itself…
