Allegedly there are bars in Ibiza.... when we first heard this we were shocked, but undeterred, we went to 'said bars' and attempted to confirm the facts. Here is a short and sober analysis of what we found and decided to share with you. The rest we cannot publish, because we have hearts of oak and a guilty conscience.....
We can't actually give you a definition of an Ibiza bar. You are as likely to find a bar in the local launderette, supermarket or riding school, as not. Most also serve food - in the form of tapas - and some will give you free tapas with each beer.
Our latest challenge is to find the first bank with bar facilities and nobody here is prepared to bet against that possibility. However, wherever we find them, if they are open, more information will appear as it arrives, as long as we can afford the beer and hangovers to continue to provide this information - Do you realise how many bars there are in Ibiza?....a 'bar-stool divers' paradise...
