Ibiza Town - Restaurants

La Plaza
Plaza de Dalt Vila 18 - Tel: 971 307 617
Romantically situated in the square that you enter coming through the gates into the old walled town. A perfect place for people watching as they pass through the Plaza.

Studio Restaurant
C/. de la Virgen 4, 1a - 971 315 368
In the centre of the port action, this 1st floor restaurant sits in the middle of the famoue Calle de la Virgen above the glitz and glamour. A Morrocan feel to the decor and good food.
Mayura

C/. Santa Lucia 7
Close to the Dome in the old town, this Indian restaurant specialises in Southern Indian delicacies.

Rincon del Puerto

C/. de Enmig 50, Puerto de Ibiza
Italian and Mediterranean cuisine within this beautiful old restaurant. Their pasta is all home made.

San Telmo

Sa Drassana 6 - Tel: 971 310 922
Close to the obelisk at the heart of the Ibiza port area, serving grilled delicacies including crpes.

Sa Murada

C/. Cayetano Soler
Tapas bar also serving excellent 'bocadillos' very close to the centre of Ibiza town. Useful for people with short lunch hours working in central Ibiza.
Tomato & Co

Plaza del Parque
One of the many eateries within the Plaza del Parque, adjacent to the main Vara de Rey in the centre of Ibiza town. A rustic feel inside reflecting the age of the building and it's history. Nowadays, a predominantly Italian menu
Bon Profit

Plaza del Parque
Full on Ibicenco restaurant providing the truly local experience on a plate from grandma's kitchen. Three generations of experience ensure that people often queue for a table in this small, but bijou establishment.

Bliss

Plaza del Parque
A Brazilian feel to the music and cocktails, combined with French cuisine courtesy of a Brazilian/French husband and wife team with incredible stamina. They shut from 4 in the morning till 9? The rest of the time they're open...

Herry's Bar

Plaza del Parque
Not strictly a restaurant, but worthy of mention as the first bar to open on the Plaza - it was originally a barber's shop. They do however now sell food to the peckish.

Sargantana's Bar

Plaza del Parque
Another bar that proves the difficulty we have in distinguishing between a 'bar' and a 'restaurant', since almost all bars on Ibiza serve food! Again it only shuts for the 5 hours between 4 & 9 in the morning. The rest of the time they offer bocadillos, salads and an organic breakfast to complement the range of cocktails and fresh juices.

Union Cafe

Plaza del Parque
A taste of delicious snacks from Valencia and a pleasant ambience on the outside terrace.

La Brasa
Carrer de Pere Sala
Beautiful inner courtyard for those seeking a romantic dinner in the centre of town. The food is good which explains their ability to survive the last 25 years.

Txintxo

Carrer de Pere Sala
A small Basque restaurant with an unusual assortment of dishes on the menu that you would expect to find only in the Basque region. Go there without worrying about ETA rushing in on your meal?

Las Trebedes

C/. Isidoro Macabich 64 - Tel: 971 193 031
Spacious, airy restaurant with nice terrace to escape the busy streets of central Ibiza.

Leonardo's

Tel: 971 316 156
On the roundabout just before Pacha, an Italian restaurant that also calls itself a music bar. Reasonably priced food, but can get lively as the nearby clubs approach opening time.

The Sushi Lounge

Pacha Night Club
Right next door to the restaurant within Pacha - a Sushi lounge set in a beautifully decorated garden. Excellent fresh sushi and sashimi alongside other perfectly prepared Japanese dishes.

Gelateria Las Palmyras

Paseo de los Pitiusas, Figueretas - Tel: 971 394 796
A pretty cafe, bistro and bar with a nice outside terrace.

Es Cam Vell
Puig d'en Valls
Off the beaten track, but an excellent spot for lunch. Incredible range of food e.g. 20 starters to choose from and excellent value in a beautiful setting. It's usually rammed with the local Spanish, which is as fine a sign as you could desire. So get there early and expect to have to wait for a table.

Sa Caldera
Obispo Padre Huix, 19
Tel: 971 306 416
This is a diamond of a restaurant if you like fish - and if you can get a table. We went on a Monday night, on the recommendation of a local, and managed to grab the only free table 30 seconds ahead of another group of Spanish diners. The place is busy, but there's still no rushing. The service is good and multi-lingual, the food fresh and brought to your table for inspection before it's cooked. Our lobster looked more like an armadillo than a crustacean as it wandered across the table? You won't be able to eat it all as the portions are massive and the Baked Alaska, for pudding, irresistible once you've seen somebody else's erupt in flames at tableside.

Diner MOS
Newly opened diner on the Avda España, just off from the Vara de Rey. A stylish restaurant which has 2 rooms, the first has an informal eating area and the back room has more of an oriental feel with cushions and low tables creating a relaxed atmosphere. There is a wide variety of food available from around the world - you are definitely spoilt for choice.. Friendly staff, competitive prices and ambient music - it's very popular so if you want to eat, go early...

Dino's
Paseo Juan Carlos
Tel: 971 192 788
Close to the Casino on the Paseo Maritimo by the Marina Botafoch, this high class Spanish restaurant is renowned for its lunch menu with over two dozen meals to choose from and at very reasonable prices. Nice views over the harbour and Ibiza old town.

La Marina
Puerto de Ibiza
Tel: 971 310 172
This old restaurant and hostal has been in existence for almost 150 years going back to the days when boat transport was the only option and Ibiza harbour was busy. The view from the terrace has changed somewhat, but still magnificent. Spanish food predominates and the setting is native Spanish.

La Vaca Argentina
Inner Ring Road.
On the inner ring road between the Can Misses and Multicinemas roundabouts this Argentinean steak house is sort of in the country, but overlooking the cranes building the apartment blocks that will soon inevitably surround it?

Macao Cafe has a solid reputation for serving splendid Italian food in a chic and tasteful environment
since the opening in ' 97. At the end of the marina, Plaza Sa Riba 10 ,
booking is essential!
phone: 971.314.707
