This has to be the prime location in Es Cana. Perched on the promontary that forces the main road through the village into a sharp bend, the beautiful terrace and gravelled frontage, reaching to the sea's edge, offer panoramic views of the beach of Es Cana and the east coast of Ibiza as far north as the island of Tagomago.
This is also the point at which the coastline ferries to the village arrive and depart. The same ferries that connect the village to the other island towns and serve the local beaches.This makes it the perfect spot to pass time whilst waiting for the ferry to arrive and the incoming passengers to disembark. Alternatively, if your crossing was rough, it's only a couple of dozen metres to a comfortable chair to complete your recovery?
As part of that recovery you might decide to check the extensive restaurant menu which covers the range and includes snacks, sandwiches and numerous options on the special children's menu. The real highlight though is the mind boggling dessert and cocktail section which has to be seen to be believed. And whilst you're wading through this latter section, the children can amuse themselves on the kiddies playground rides.
This is without doubt the perfect spot to sit and watch the world of Es Cana going about its business, whilst relaxing in that cunningly organised sea breeze or the shade of the 'Jacaranda' as you watch the moon rising out of the sea on the horizon...
