Kumharas - Chillout bar - San Antonio Bay
The West side of Ibiza is is one best spots for watching the sunset , and Kumharas is not an exception on the list of top places on Ibiza to watch the sunset. The one and only sunset chillout bar on the San Antonio Bay side,, Kumharas has a hippy-like vibe with that rustic feel which brings back the natural relaxing real Ibiza chillout scene. Situated at the end of the beach of Cala de Bou. Its a different experience to those of the Sunset Strip like Cafe Del Mar and Mambo's.
Kumharas Offers more of a funky and alternative scene to the sunset strip which is on the other side of the bay.
Luxurious floor cushions, wooden tables, cane tables and chairs and very relaxing sofa couches make up this chillout sunset bar terrace. All built round a tower which is the main bar, offering snacks, drinks and many types of cocktails this is an excellent and great valued place to watch an Ibizan sunset.
You will also find a small hippy market, selling alot of Eastern products and some of the Great Kumharas CD's which adds the the trend of the ambient environment.
After the sunset the vibes of the music are a bit of Goa, House, Rave, Minimal tech and hip hop with live percussionists and MC's. Depending of the mood of the evenings, Kumharas produces some interesting evenings and nights to remember.
Kumharas alos has alot of events and entertainers of all kinds, like juggling, fire throwing and acrobatics. So expect some surprises and some experiences to remember.
This has to be the 'off the beaten track' sunset watching spot on Ibiza. Kumharas is highly recommended for a great sunset, with one of the best atmospheres around in a more natural environment.
