La Perla - Restaurant and Snack Bar - Es Cana, Santa Eulalia
This typical Spanish restaurant is situated right opposite the bus station and taxi rank in the centre of the popular seaside resort of Es Cana, on Ibiza 's beautiful east coast. Just 100 metres from the beach ‘La Perla' is a unique family restaurant in the village run by Cristino &Paco with their two friendly waiters Lucky & Janjo who speak five different languages.
The food they offer features a range of typical Spanish tapas (snacks) of the highest quality which are available in variously sized portions to suit any tatse - a real taste of Spain . In addition to this there is an extensive restaurant menu offering Spanish and English cuisine (even a full English breakfast), all again of the highest quality, yet very reasonably priced.
You can always spot a good restaurant when the chef, in this case Alberto, is willing to leave the kitchen door open for you to be able to check the cleanliness.
The full restaurant menu is available daily from midday to 4 pm, then 6:30 to midnight, however, snacks are available throughout the twenty hours each day that they are open (7am-3am). These include the aforementioned tapas, sandwiches, burgers and baguettes, all of which are available either to eat in the restaurant, take away home or to the beach.
If you only fancy a drink, no problem, you will be greeted with a true Spanish welcome, which includes a small snack (tapa) with your drink and a beer mat so your perspiring glass doesn't drip all over your outfit.
Another bonus for sports lovers is the Sky sports coverage on a 2.5 m2 screen.
Hosting possibly the largest restaurant terrace in Es Cana, where you will be waited upon in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, this is a fabulous place to chill out. Because it is so close to the sea, you enjoy a pleasant sea breeze as you reflect on your day on the sunny terrace.
A house speciality that sets this restaurant apart from the competition is the availability of local Fresh Seafood on request.
