MAINTENANCE AND OTHER SERVICES The range of other services required for a boat, such as cleaning, polishing using ' Nautiel products'. Repairs to fibre-glass, wood and stainless steel, antifouling etc, are all catered for too by Livnautic's team. On particularly specialised jobs, for example navigation equipment, tonneau covers and trailer repairs, we sub-contract to professional companies either on Ibiza, the mainland or overseas to complete the service offered to our clients. STORAGE AND PROTECTION COVERS Eventually, when winter comes, it is time for clients to hand their boats over to our care until next season. This is when we set about preparing the boat for hibernation: de-salting the hull and cockpit, fitting dehumidifiers, applying stronger covers, etc. For full protection (only if the boat is stored in Sta. Eulalia), Livnautic would suggest the manufacture of an acrylic cover that covers the full structure of the boat, thus diminishing the effects of rain, damp and sun. TRANSFERS Through our network of engineers and professional skippers we organise boat transfers throughout the Mediterranean. When transfers in Europe, the USA or Caribbean are required, we contact transport companies with years of experience offering the best possible service. MOORINGS Another key factor in today's nautical market is moorings. For this reason Livnautic can arrange mooring management for their clients in the harbours of Marina Botafoch, Ibiza Nueva, Sta. Eulalia and San Antonio. We can also provide help to clients wishing to cruise the entire Mediterranean, consequently requiring moorings in many different harbours. |
