The Lost Mountain Orchestra

The Lost Mountain Orchestra came together in the November of 2005 as a way of passing the Winter here on Ibiza. They would meet at a local bar and restaurant in Santa Eulalia called "Daffers" and, basically, jam!. It soon became apparent, however, that this meeting of bows, guitars and voices held something more than just a once a week jam session. They began to rehearse regularly and were offered a winter house-band residency at the local late bar in Santa Eulalia "Guarana Bar". The band attracts Spanish, English, French & German audiences and has played weddings, birthdays, boat trips, terrace parties bars and nightclubs.

The music.

It is an eclectic mix of gypsy jazz, country, rock and roll, ballads, even songs and themes from the the movies. This really reflects the different genres and backgrounds of the musicians involved in the Lost Mountain Orchestra.
