A proper English public house right in the heart of the bustling seaside resort of Es Canar. The Nag's Head is a real contrast to the island around you - an English oasis amidst the foreign goings on! You walk through the door into what could be any pub almost anywhere in Britain . All wood panels, horse brasses and walls crammed with pictures. A comfortable spacious bar that gets bigger the more you explore. In front of the pub is a big covered outside terrace with English pub garden style furniture and a pool table. At the rear there is another covered terrace with another two pool tables and other games machines to keep the kids entertained all day long, when they get bored with playing in either the large swimming pool or the paddling pool. Around the pools are numerous sunbeds set in the walled garden, all of which are free to clients - as are the pools! The huge main room, which has plenty of room for an indoor pool table and darts area, is decorated with a huge amount of diverse memorabilia and rows of books for those who forgot to bring their own reading matter. Giant pool balls and boxing gloves all add to the quirky, different feel to the place... They screen all major football matches and other sports fixtures on six large Satellite TV screens. In addition to that they have huge wide screen. For those who like the 'gee gees' they screen live horse racing every day too.

Evening entertainment includes a Pot Luck quizz on Tuesdays, a Trivia quizz on Wednesdays, a Telly Addicts quizz on Fridays and a Music quizz on Sunday evenings. Combine these with the remarkably cheap beer on offer between 7 and 9:30 pm and you can understand why this pub is so popular with the locals throughout the winter - which is always a good sign!
