· 16th September - After 4 succesful charity nights at the Coastline Cafe, 830,000pts (approx £3100) was raised for APNEEF, a charity for local under privileged, and special needs children in Ibiza & Formentera - click here for details. After San Juan council cancelled the annual world drumming day for peace at Benirras in August, another free event has been cancelled by the authorities, this one was a one day chill-out festival (along the lines of the Dreamdaze festival). · 14th September - last night we went to the DJ awards at Pacha - a great night... unfortunately we can't remember who won but check www.djawards.com. According to local papers, in another brilliant? move by San Antonio's major, Antonio mari Tur, the council have withdrawn Amnesia's licence for Sunday and Monday because they were still open between 8 & 9.30am the other morning... though Monday's Cocoon closing party at Amnesia on Monday was being advertisied on the radio - god forbid anyone can enjoy themselves here... · 11th September - the cameramans/webmasters birthday - pictures of a day at Cala Gracio & its little sister Cala Gracionetta beach & the obligatory sunset on 17/08. It's the beginning of September so we have had the customary rain, which has cooled everything down and turned the countryside a lush green. Friday was a rammed Ministry of Sound at Pacha till sunrise, Saturday was obviously spent celebrating the footy and Sunday a friend was leaving early Monday morning so we obviously had to go to Space for Sasha & Digweed who played back to back on the terrace. It was packed and storming...busier than the opening party....and everyone sang happy birthday to Sasha on the terrace. Complete Pacha closing parties added.
