· 23rd August - Last night was the 48th anniversary of Las Dalias. As expected it was packed, outside in the bottom market there were the usual saturday market stalls, the indian tea tent and a full stage set up with a live band. The main upper part were hundreds sitting down to eat as well as live performances from The Party People, a great reggae set from Glasford and inside The Tribe of Frog had decked out the hall and had a rammed full-on trance night till sometime this morning - we left around 5am and it was still going strong. · 19th August - New full moon predictor online - (on the left) (underneath the random picture). Villas · 13th August - Cova Santa finally opened last night. They describe it as "Sexy Lounge with table dance, lap dance & sexy shows". To say it wasn't hugely busy would be polite. · 11th August - As usual we spent saturday afternoon at Las Dalias - we were minding ourselves at the bar when who should appear over our shoulder, none other than mister pete tong himself - obviously chilling out to Willie Graf's tunes who was on the decks at the time... and last night Jason Base had a launch party for the new Base Bar CD which you can buy now from here directly on-line · 1st August. There's a new IBZ magazine on Ibiza - its a 92 page full colour a4 guide to Ibiza - clubs, bars, restaurants, interviews with pvd & tiesto, beaches, alternative, 5 pages of club listings, maps, how to get around etc - its been produced by people who actually live here all year round rather than from some office in london so its really worth it at only 6euros from your local shop when you get here or you can click here to buy it here directly on-line. A K Morgana has lost its DJ licence until September alledgedly. |
