This is a traditional country pub of the sort that you never thought you'd find in Spain - and like any good country pub it has a fine restaurant that has generated an enormous number of unsolicited accolades in their extensive Visitor's Book. They offer a full 'a la carte' menu, prepared by their professional English chef, Andy Bird, and everything is cooked to order from fresh ingredients that are meticulously stored in their 'industrial' sized kitchen. Nonetheless, they cater for those in a hurry too with a selection of bar snacks and 'tapas'. |

Unrecognisable to anyone familiar with its former life, this potentially beautiful setting has been completely transformed to finally realise its true potential. Owner, Allen York - a regular visitor to and student of Thailand - has brought back to Ibiza a blend of that culture that extends from the Bangkok temple gold of the front gates to the street style hectic of the garden (opening in June), with flamboyant street sellers preparing the kind of portable snacks you would expect to find in a bustling Thai maket. |
Kan Tong Thai

In Port des Torrent opposite the Hotel Es Pins. An a la carte Thai restaurant with 49 dishes to choose from but also featuring a 3 course set meal with drink included for only 8 euros. With a take-away service as well for when you want to dine in your own home...
Ling Nam OK!
We haven't checked this place yet, because we don't eat very often.. However, we can tell you that the sign outside says that the set menu is 1.100 ptas. This has got to be good, but we take no responsibility yet for being wrong where research resources were non-existent, or we weren't hungry?
Dewa's Indian Restaurant
Calle Burgos 14, Cala de Bou, San Antonio Bay
One of the rare species of curry houses on the island. Tastefully decorated and with an extensive menu, the excellent authentic Indian food and ambience of the place are refreshing. Open six days a week all year round from 6pm to midnight.

Kan Tong Thai
Ibiza Marquee
This is not strictly a restaurant, but if you buy a ticket for the 'show' they do provide you with food - albeit a finger buffet to prepare you for the cabaret madness that accompanies sufficient drinking to get everybody up on the tables singing and falling off again before they let you out. Picture a German Bierkeller, but full of Brits and you've got the right idea.
Reco d'es Pins
Double Dragon Chinese
Can Pujol
A very popular authentic Spanish fish restaurant on the beach at the very western end of the village.
Nuevo Andalucia
Avda. San Agustin - Tel: 971 34 33 32
On the top road in the Bay of San Antonio a couple of hundred metres past the Skuma supermarket, this is an Andalucian restaurant and very big. Specialising in 'menu del dia' the décor is fairly basic and functional - like a large canteen, but the choice is extensive with over a dozen first course options and even more main dishes. They also offer a full range of evening dishes. The kitchen is visible from your table, so they clearly feel they have nothing to hide?
Zafiro
This large restaurant on the top road, close to the big Zuma supermarket, is very popular with the local Spanish as a lunchtime venue with a reasonably priced menu del dia, but with an extensive range of options from which to choose - rather than one set dish. More like a canteen than a holiday resort restaurant - but cheap!
