San Miguel
San Miguel Bars
Cafeteria Es Pi Ver
Overlooks the corner of the turning to San Juan from the main San Miguel road on your right as you enter the village. A very Spanish bar with a large roadside terrace.
Bar Restaurant San Miguel
On your left if you take the turning to San Mateo from the main San Miguel road after a couple of dozen yards. Dark and dingy like a good local man's bar should be for watching the football on a tele in the corner.
Bar Restaurant Ca'n Rei
On the corner of the turn off that leads down the hill to Puerto San Miguel. They serve food and have a terrace in a good spot to watch what little there is going on in the sleepy village of San Miguel .
Bar Marc h
A little further along the main road on the left, this bar is easily overlooked. What must have originally started in somebody's front room has gradually taken over the whole ground floor and left the house with a sort of olde worlde feel, laced with authenticity.
Can Cameta
On the way up the hill to the church, this little bar has moved downstairs and isn't visible from the road anymore? A shop now marks the spot where it used to be, alongside which is a an arrow pointing down some steps.
Bar
As you reach the church at the top of the hill you find a quaint row of houses on your right. Alongside the door of one of these is a small sign that reads "Bar". Inside is a tiny room with indeed a bar along the back wall. There is also a bench, but the few customers I've ever seen there sit either on the step or the church wall across the road. If there is a more traditional house of sustenance on the island we haven't found it yet. Has to be experienced...
