San Miguel Port - Restaurants

San Miguel Port - Bars & Restaurants

Happy Friars

Happy Friars

The Happy Friars is the only proper British bar in Puerto de San Miguel, which is a bit daft because the majority of visitors to this little corner of paradise are British. However, if you fancy a little slice of British and you're in the north of the island - check it out.

Cafeteria San Remo

On the right hand side before the first corner on the road back up the hill to San Miguel. A barbecue and grill with a small terrace.

Cafeteria Es Port

On the corner of the turn off that leads up to the 'Cova de Can Marc a' caves. This bar has a large outside terrace and Sky satellite TV.

Restaurant Marin Dos

A small restaurant in between the Es Port and the Happy Friars that appears to do a fair selection of meat and fish dishes in a clean if formal setting.

Angela's Bar

Further up the hill to the caves on the right this smart looking bar is allegedly very cool. We look forward to following up this recommend.

Sol i Camp Snack Bar

Halfway along the straight leading to the beach this is the cheap and cheerful snack bar of an apartment complex below which it stands.

Torre Mar

A little closer to the beach on the main road you will find the village's token Chinese restaurant decked out in red.

El Kiosco

A big chiringuito dominating the back of the beach, so you can wiggle your toes in the sand on the outside terrace.

Bar Restaurant Port Balanzat

A huge restaurant to the left of the beach, which is very popular with large groups of locals. This is invariably a sign that the food is good and predominantly traditional. A nice raised and decked terrace overlooks the beach and caters easily for a hundred diners. The voluminous interior at least double that.
