Spain has two sets of island groups these are the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
The Canary Islands which is a part of Spain are locayed just off the Atlantic Coast of Africa, they are seven isles: Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro.
There are another set of islands that are situated in the Mediterranean Sea to the East of Spain. The main isles there are: Majorca, Ibiza, and Menorca, the smaller ones are: Formentera, Dragonera, and Cabrera these are called the Balearic Islands.
