So you want to live and rent a villa or apartment in Ibiza and you wondering how much its going to cost you in groceries per week. So the information we want to give you is the prices of the general groceries you would buy if you lived anywhere in the world.
First there is a range of all differnat types of supermarkets on the Island some based in tourists resorts and others in the middle of nowhere, well a good distance from popular places. Most supermarkets you will find within a resort or village. There are a few big stores like SYP near Ibiza town and Hypercentro on the road to San Antonio, which are the biggest supermarkets on the Island
The prices below are based on a local supermarket within a town like Santa Eulalia , San Antonio of Ibiza Town that runs under the name of SPAR.
Remember tourist resorts do have supermarkets but cater for the tourist and do tend to overcharge for the essential groceries.
Prices do change over time and supermarkets always have some special offers running. The prices are based in Euros. We are not responsible for the prices being wrong or out of date. We try to keep them updated.
