February
February temperatures are just a little better than January's, as winter begins to wind down. There are still some storms about, and some rainfall, but with spring just around the corner this is a good time to visit for you outdoorsy types. Wrap up in the evenings, as temperatures are still low, but the daytime should be fresh and bearably warm.
If you're lucky enough to be here in February, you must visit Santa Agnes for the famous almond-blossom midnight walk, held on the full moon toward the end of the month.
