Your photographer will need to know all non-traditional wedding details, as well as photography restrictions. If you are having a church wedding, make sure your photographer can have flash or is even allowed to take photos in the church! There is no point hiring a wedding photographer to take wedding photos during the ceremony if the church does not allow it. You may want to change churches or ministers in a case like this. Some ministers simply do not like pictures being taken, or flashes, during the ceremony, because the flash distracts them from their readings.
If you are having speakers during your ceremony, or any special announcements at your reception, your photographer should know the full day's schedule before the wedding.
